We will let you know what we can do to provide peace of mind. We will provide a thorough evaluation of the electrical system in your home. If we find safety hazards, we will provide an explanation of urgent repairs and of those you can plan in the future.
If you have a specific area that has lost power, we will need to perform a targeted circuit diagnostic. If you want to have optimum peace of mind or are getting ready to list your home for sale, we recommend our 36-point whole home safety inspection. We use the most current version of the N.E.C. (national electrical code) so that you know the condition of your home. You will receive a breakdown of the findings into three groups: safety / code compliance / recommended upgrades. There will likely be code issues depending on the age of the home. Many of us have been told that a component of our system is “grandfathered in.” However, the truth is that the NEC is revised every three years employing the newest safety systems that are available in the industry. Our job is to share our knowledge and experience with you so that you can make the best-informed decision for you and your family.
